Irving Stone Handwritten 1946 Letters To Max Miller About Dear Theo & Investing
Here, we have 2 letters written in 1946 by Irving Stone. Both are to his friend and fellow author, Max Miller. Both come with their envelopes. (Much more to the story). He thanks Miller for his good review of “Dear Theo” and hopes to visit him soon. Mailed July 21, 1946 – Written on Associated Magazine Contributors, Inc. Logo paper 11″ X 8 1/2″, Stone writes “Americas finest essayist” should invest and “earn a few bucks”. This has a second note written by Jerome Ellison who would like very much to have Miller “on board”. Included is a fold-out brochure about Associated Magazine Contributors, Inc. The Jerome Ellison signature has not been authenticated. These are condition, the writing is clean and clear. The envelopes have toned, but the letters have not. They have been handled and have a few wrinkles. Please view my photographs for more description. My friend who collects everything, is starting to part with a few of his treasures, aren’t you glad?
