Antique Artist GUY C WIGGINS Handwritten LETTER Signed 1913. Union League Club – New York City – National Arts Club. Fabulous piece of history! This is a handwritten letter in black fountain pen ink and autographed behind glass on National Arts Club, New York, Gramercy Park, Manhattan, stationary. The letter references an art exhibit held at the Union League Club in New York City in 1913, where Wiggins debuted his famous work,’Gloucester Schooners’. Handwritten letter is presented in a black painted wood frame under glass. Note wear to the black frame with dents and dings and some paint loss. Also note some fading to the original black fountain pen ink as well as some discoloration of the letter paper, all due to its vintage. We have no question that this is genuine, but there is NO independent verification of authenticity for this listing.
