A genuine Peter Blake signature for sale, dating to the early to mid’90’s at the time of a’Beatles associates’ collection of autographs was being assembled. Peter Blake is linked with the 60’s U. Pop art movement and was part of a collective known as The Fool. He was recruited to take the lead on the design of the legendary Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band album cover, and has been associated with designing music related art since – including art associated with the Live Aid movement. The person assembling the autographs and signatures was called Mark Bowers, attending a number of Liverpool based Beatles conventions in the mid 90’s. Recently his collection went under the hammer. The letter headed A4 paper is addressed to Mark and features Peter Blake with his customary pop art icons featured below his name.
