Authentic, Original, Signed Handwritten Letter by Sir John Jervis, Lord Saint Vincent – 1798. Commander of the English Mediterranean Fleet, written in Gibraltar. This letter is in excellent condition with brown ink on ivory colored hand laid paper. The original envelope is included, also addressed in St. It’s not in as good condition as the letter – some of the folded seams have come apart. The face of the envelope reads: To… The Captain of any one of His Maj. The paper the letter is written on is: 9-1/2″ x 15″. It’s folded in two with the letter written on one of the two halves.
