ONEILL HANDWRITES AND ILLUSTRATES HER VIKING-THEMED POEM THE THREE MAGICAL HEARTS. ONeill was an American author and illustrator best remembered for creating the Kewpie doll. In her time, she was the highest paid and most famous cartoonist. 11 x 8 ½. An autograph manuscript signed Rose ONeill and illustrated by her. It is her original poem The Three Magical Hearts and the drawings have a Viking theme. She created this for Christian Birger Matta, presumably a youngster.
