RARE Charles Dickens Autographed/Handwritten Letter dated the First of July 1852. Written from Tavistock House, the London home of the noted British author and his family from 1851 to 1860. The letter is addressed to the Reverend Dr. Hawtrey, who was the headmaster and later the provost of Eton College. Size of letter: approximately 4 1/2 wide by 7 tall. Framed and matted in wood frame measuring 14 1/2 wide by 11 tall. Dickens typical flowing signature appears at the bottom of the letter. See photos for condition description.
