The content of this one-page letter (written on the front and back of the piece of paper) is very interesting. It references a’she devil’ Mrs Wilson’. This reference is possibly JANE ADELINE SMITH WILSON b. JANE WILSON was a Comanche Indian Captive and several recounts of her experience were published. Condition: This historical document is in good condition considering its age. Overall moderate edge ware with edge line denting, and creases. Corners have moderate rounding and crushing. Lower right corner has a dog-eared fold. Aside from the corners, there are other moderate creases and heavy mailing folds. Overall soiling/darkening is moderate and heavier along the borders. Included is a bio/lineage that was originally compiled by the previous owner. Along with a small picture that has been affixed to a piece of paper.
