It is hand dated July 5th, 1895 (roughly 2 years after his presidency). The letter is addressed to George A. Letter is in very fine condition with only the smallest couple marks and fold creases. The letter reads as follows. I have your letter of June 26th, and beg to say in reply that it will not be possible for me to deliver a lecture in your Star Lecture Course.
